AMIR Master 2021-2023 - 1st Application Period

Applications to the 5th edition of the AMIR Master Programme (2021-2023) are now open, with the deadline at midnight (CET) on Sunday 14th March 2021.

Students requiring a visa to study in the European Union are strongly encouraged to apply during this application period, and not wait for the second period (April). That way successful candidates will receive their acceptance letters in mid to late April, leaving them enough time to apply and obtain their visa before the beginning of 1st year classes in September.

New for this year is the addition of the University of Miskolc (Hungary) as a new Year 1 option, adding to the existing options of Bordeaux and NOVA Lisbon. This option involves mainly general courses in the field of Materials Sciences, but with an accent of Polymer Recycling, in which Miskolc has a strong specialization. The full list of modules offered at each partner university will soon be available at www.amir-master.com/programme. 

Year 2 options are therefore reduced to three: the Technical Universities of Darmstadt and Madrid, and the University of Liège. Candidates should rank all three Year 2 options in order of preference. The AMIR programme aims to ensure some balance between the number of students at each partner university, for this reason only the strongest candidatures following evaluation will be granted their first choices.
